Things to do in Kauai: Waterfall Rappelling

Hawaii, Tours & Experiences, United States

“Well there’s no going back now!” I was a third of the way rappelling down a 60 foot waterfall where the water was flowing strongest. It was dense beating down on my face, I had no choice but to close my eyes. The sound of it roaring past my ears was almost deafening and I […]

Hiking the Kuilau Ridge Trail in Kauai

Hawaii, Tours & Experiences, United States

Trudging through the muddy path along the edge of a steep descent, I gazed out at the layers upon layers of mountains in the distance. Looking for something?

Sarah Alexander Head Shot

Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm a writer, photographer, and coffee addict born in the beachside town of Beaumaris, Australia. I'm also a sucker for seeing new places!

In April 2018, I flew from Australia to North America, continuing my mission to share advice and experiences from my travels. This is to encourage other women to develop confidence and knowledge to do the same.

The term "adventure" means something different for everyone, which is why I like to share everything I do, ranging from taking a walk through beautiful gardens to rappelling down a 60ft waterfall.

I'm not an athlete by any means, but I like to give everything a go!

My travels, along with working for an eco-tour company, has made me realize how precious our earth is and how much harder we need to work to look after it. I'll be improving my blog to focus on more sustainable friendly options for travelers. If you have any questions or requests, please reach out!
